Grandpa Bernard, Grandma Liz, and Cousin Jared have been visiting us since they took the Amtrak to Salem last Thursday. The train was about six hours late, but they had a good time anyway.

We’ve been doing a lot together, and I’ve been having a lot of fun. On Saturday we went to World Beat at the riverfront in Salem. Both the music and the food were excellent!

On Sunday we visited the Starrs in Portland, and I got a chance to play with Lucy and Noor, two of my other cousins. There were neat adults in attendance as well.

On Monday, we visited the Portland Zoo at Washington Park. I liked all the animals. I’m not sure if I had a favorite, but the giraffes were neat. I had fun walking and trying to keep up with Jared. That evening, we watched Dad play soccer. He even scored a goal (or two).

Yesterday, my friend Abby and her mom Cindy came over and we all baked sugar cookies. Later I went to Amadeus Cafe for lunch followed by a Salem-Keizer Volcanoes baseball game. It’s been a very busy week, but I’ve had a lot of fun!
