We dined with our friends Brian, Debbie, and their daughter Erin this evening. We found it hard to believe that Erin is now 9 years-old and headed into fourth grade. Seems like only yesterday that she was Jonah-sized.
Our friends had just returned from Ireland, and they give the country and it’s people rave reviews. (This is Ireland proper, not Northern Ireland where the Troubles still occasionally flare and where there is more day-to-day tension as a result.) I confess that I’m very eager to one day visit the Emerald Isle.
Our gratitude to Brian, Debbie and Erin for the conversation and the dinner. As always, our time together is never long enough.
