For what was a pretty decent game, I was disappointed to see Henry’s flop in the box for a penalty be the deciding factor. But maybe it was justice for all the flopping that the Portuguese have done all tourney and did even more of today. I know that post-game Portugal was complaining about the refereeing, but let me say this: I thought it was a very well officiated game.
Of course, I’m also thrilled that France held on to win 1-0. I’ll be pulling for them on Sunday as well.
