Other than The Amazing Race, I’m not a big fan of reality TV. But I will say that this YouTube clip from Britain’s Got Talent is something to see.
It’s the first live performance of Paul Potts, a cell phone salesman from Wales, who wants to sing opera. Potts is awkward and dumpy, not particularly handsome and carries on the long British tradition of having bad teeth.
But let’s not kid ourselves. The man can sing. In fact, he just won the competition.
