The EPA’s mission is “to protect human health and the environment — air, water and land.” That the EPA is now led by someone who doesn’t share that mission—indeed seems overtly hostile to it—is a tragedy for those of us who care about the environment. In Christian terms, where followers are called to be stewards of the earth, it’s a literal goddamned shame.
