This math doesn’t add up, for starters. Beyond that, if I’m a nonprofit I’m not going to be relying on United Way going forward. If I’m a donor, why would I give to United Way instead of directly to a charity? With overhead of $412k out of $1.15 million it sure seems like a highly inefficient organization.
