Personally, I find it immediately disqualifying. One hates to say “never,” but if you look at what the right-wing Christianists have done to this country, I don’t know why anyone would vote for another religious nut.

This level of religious intolerance may strike some as unpalatable, but I’ve never understood why a candidate’s most deeply held beliefs shouldn’t be considered a voting issue. People are free to believe whatever they like, of course. Just don’t expect my vote at the same time.
